Typically, I’ll start my day in the studio with a #dailycollage. I work in a 6 by 6 square in my sketchbook, pulling pieces from trays of papers and ephemera organized roughly by color family. ⁣

The puzzle solving aspect of putting the pieces together sparks the expression of my imagination. I find it an easy jump to painting once I’m in the flow!⁣
